Villa Escudero is just two hours away from Manila.  It's Just a quick getaway from the city if you just need to relax.

NOTE: Although washing your hands in the waterfalls might seem enjoyable,...DON'T.  Muntik ko na gawin buti na lang sabi ng pinsan ko, "Ano ka ba Rex? Lahat ng kumakain dito nagkaka-diarrhea. 



Of course, river rafting is a must to for a lifestyle...






...but sometimes, you just have to act like a boss. 







The resort is also famous for its carabao transportation.

We booked a cottage near the river. The view is very relaxing, as well as the rooms. There's also an attic where you can sleep  But as a toilet  enthusiast, the comfort room is quite small I'd rather defecate in my own home. 









Yup..and those are my relatives doing their own business. 




If you're a swimming pool enthusiast, I wouldn't recommend Villa Escudero. The pool is quite small.  Pero cyempre, kailangan sulitin, so here are our pool pictures. 







Overall if you're into Filipino cultural experiences. I highly recommend Villa Escudero. On weekends (or I think Sundays), they also exhibit traditional dances from the different provinces of the Philippines....and guess what?? 

The waiters, receptionists, caraboa drivers, hosts, are also the dancers! Multi-talented!

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Go to Jac Liner bus terminal and take the bus going to Lucena, Quezon.  Travel time is 2 hours. 

Bus trip starts at 5am and ends at 10pm. Trip start every 30 minutes. Just tell the bus driver or the conductor to drop you off at Villa Escudero.
